In August 2013, 4 cyclists took on a 170mile journey in 1 day to raise funds for ECRAD Orphan Care.
The group set off from Barra at 6 am on Sat 20th, arriving at the Butt of Lewis 170 miles and 20 hrs later, at 2 am on Sunday morning.
An amazing journey through some fantastic scenery on a lovely sunny day.
Best of all the cycle challenge raised over £12,000.
This financed the purchase of a replacement 4×4 vehicle for ECRAD Malawi and financed a day trip to Monkey Bay, which for some was their first time to Lake Malawi. See how they enjoyed it here : http://youtu.be/jTw15NhsQ20
